Whether or not you believe in beings that lurk in the shadows of the night, or hide in the light, arming yourself against them is not an original idea. Down throughout the entire history of humankind there have been many attempts, experiments, and theories to develop protection and offense against the attacks of darkness.
I create real weapons designed specifically for offense and defense against the dark. I begin with alloy aluminum. The properties of aluminum are ideal for these swords-Non-magnetic and waterproof. Each one is unique in design. I craft the machetes, or short swords if you will, into awesome and terrifying designs. Then I physically embalm the weapons with elements selected from the list below, all of them with the intent of being incredibly effective against all creatures of the night, all agents of evil. The average process will include but is not limited to: sprayed with particles of pure silver, rubbed with salt, sage, wolvesbane and nightshade, and prayed over and blessed on completion.

I will gladly create a custom design, a custom stamping in any shape or alphabet, and a custom engraving, for increased price respectively. The standard Death’s Hand Machete will have a final clear coating sprayed over the blade to protect and seal the toxic herb residue placed on the weapon during creation. You will want to keep your weapon in a safe place , keeping animals and mortals from ingesting any leftover herbs, as they do have the potential to make mortals ill. The weapons can be painted, or stained with gun blueing in any pattern you wish-creating a sort of tattoo, black against the shiny blade. I also offer to equip the blade handle with an ultraviolet mini flashlight, anchored to the grip by the paracord wrapping. Phantasmal and non-corporeal spirits are well known to be better seen in the Ultraviolet and Infrared spectrums of light. Ultraviolet light will also cast visible light that mortals can see, whereas infrared will not, so I have chosen UV to better assist you. Lanyard holes can be drilled anywhere on the weapon to accommodate the attachment of personal effects, or I can add charms, satchels of herbs, beads, crystals, or any combination of the above. Finally, insets and inlays are available to be set and secured anywhere on the weapon, allowing metals and stones to be fixed on the machete.

ANCIENT ELEMENTS AGAINST THE DARKNESS
The following is a list of ancient materials and practices designed throughout the centuries to battle the supernatural. Any of the following can be included in any weapon in any combination you desire. I’ve also included some background history regarding the usefulness of each individual element for your perusal and to assist in making both an excellent weapon and an informed decision.
Aluminum. The Element Aluminum produces blade properties very few know about. It is non-magnetic: a valuable asset in the destruction of darkness. Since spirits operate in the resonance of electrical, sonic and magnetic energy, aluminum will negate and be concealed from these electromagnetic fields. Tough enough to chop pine, sharp enough to split hair, the properly crafted aluminum weapon is devastating to the damned.
Silver. Silver is legendary, as it’s ties to the moon and night time are known across the world and across time. Lesser known is Quicksilver also known as Mercury, albeit highly toxic. To bring down a Werewolf, or any shapeshifter, you must introduce silver into it’s bloodstream, into it’s heart, or decapitate it. Decapitation being an obvious form of death for almost any creature living or undead, physical or spiritual, or a combination of them.
Salt. As long as it’s been around salt has been a symbol of purity, and a purifier. Salt poured on the ground or surface creates a field of force that unbroken, resists the spiritual. Salt, scattered or thrown, , disperses the spiritual. Since B.C. salt has been referred to as being very valuable. In the times of the Roman empire, salt was used as a currency. It has the power to cauterize wounds and kill crops.
Plants and Herbs. The natural world has provided many species of plant designed specifically for the protection from, the removal of, and the dispersion of evil. Every medicine in existence has come from a plant of some sort. Effective against malevolent beings regardless of their nature- be they mortal spiritual or somewhere in between, be they wraith demon or magic user. If one is threatened by entities, hexes or sorcery, there is an herb to resist and end it. Combining them amplifies their already unique powers. The plants that assist us in this task are numerous but a few are as follows. Wolvesbane, Nightshade, Mistletoe, Rosemary, Sage, Cloves, Garlic, Vinegar and Mandrake.
Hallowed Expression. Never discount the power of holy prayer and holy symbol. The mere existence of faith and belief in any expression contains great power. The stronger the belief the stronger the power. Any religious symbol, and any humble expression be it writing or verbal, has the ability to disburse and destroy evil of any kind. It is the strength within us that empowers these expressions, and enforces the will of creation. Be they mantras or crosses, runes or writing, empowering a newly created weapon with holy intent makes it devastating to darkness and it’s agents.
